Since Nana and Grandpa Evers were flying back on Thanksgiving day, we had our Thanksgiving the day before and Christmas with the Evers family the day before that! Christmas before Thanksgiving, my goodness!

This is Lily's disappointed slump - she drops her shoulders and arms and sighs heavily. It's adorable.
Then we took a break from Christmas to make Thanksgiving pies for the next day.
Ellie: We don't get to eat the pie tonight??
