Worms

Avy likes bugs. She's really not bothered by them. I think it's awesome :)

Pumpkin Farm

Took the girls to a pumpkin farm with some friends. I thought it would be fun, each pick their own pumpkin, ride the hayride, etc, but they were apparently just a tad too young (along with all their friends) - we all ended up leaving early because everyone just wanted to get held. So much for kodak moments!

Still got some good shots though:

The bridge from the pumpkin patch to the Christmas tree area. This would have been all they did, if the kids had been given a choice.

I'm not sure she's hugging so much as cowering behind that pumpkin.

Yes Ellie, heave that pumpkin!

Let's all stand around and look at a moldy pumpkin! Exciting!

We tried for a group shot...

Bye Ellie...

Got the girls inside and gave them toast - happiest they were all trip.

Kids Museum again

We loved this place so much we got a membership - it's flat fee for families and heaven knows our family's growing! Every time we visit the girls find new things to play with, definitely getting our money's worth.

Ginormous "Lite Brite" wall.

"Working in the garage" with screws and pre-drilled wood.

They weren't sure what to make of the other kids across the table (heh).

This was a cool activity - playdoh and magnetic alphabet. The kids would press the letters into the playdoh; the thought process being that it would help them recognize them. All I know is Ellie picked up an "I" and said "I!".... shoot, I thought, I'm going to have to start homeschooling them soon.

And then cars with tracks. Who doesn't love cars with tracks :)

Not your standard morning

The girls decided to get into Momma's prenatal vitamins one morning - I came out of the bathroom and found them sorting them on the table. I couldn't get a clear answer of how many if any they'd eaten (2 was as high as they could count then) and iron is a bad thing for toddlers. To the hospital we go!

Patiently waiting for checkin. This was ~1.5 hours after possible ingestion, no symptoms showing. They were hungry, but seemed to understand that we had to wait...

2 hours later after finally getting checked out! If they had eaten any it was only 1 or 2, 20 being where it gets bad so we stuffed them full of bananas and pastries. The girls were great this whole time, patiently waiting, calmly telling me they were hungry and accepting that they had to wait, tolerating the Dr's tests and for the most part sitting still. Good girls. Now just stay out of Momma's medicine cabinet!

Bugs are adorable

We've got Avy being cute with a roly poly, now we have Ellie being cute with a millipede. I'm sorry to say that the millipede was dismembered very shortly after these pictures. Alas, but it was for a good cause.
