Ellie is going through a hide-and-seek phase; she loves hide-and-seek.
Ellie: "Mom! Dad! Will you play hide-and-seek with us?"
Me: "Not right now dear, maybe in a bit."
Ellie: "....Ok, will you come outside and we'll do a concert for you?"
Dad and I exchange looks.
Me: "Sure, we can do that for a few minutes."
Ellie: "OK! You sit here and cover your eyes. It's a surprise concert. Count to 20. Then when you hear us singing you come find us!"
Kid's clever, I'll give her that.
